5-Ingredient Baked Pesto Chicken: A Quick and Easy Recipe for Busy Nights

Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 35 minutes Total cook time: 40 minutes


You’ll need:


2 chicken breasts, butterflied (sliced through the middle without going all the way through with ur knife.)

2 tomatoes, sliced 1/4”

8 slices of mozzarella cheese, OR shredder mozzarella

1 cup store bought pesto

Olive oil

Salt + pepper

Fresh basil, for garnish


How to make:

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a 9x9 baking dish, add olive oil, butterflied chicken, season with salt and spread pesto over chicken. Add Mozzarella cheese on top, sliced tomato and season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 35 minutes, remove from oven and reserve. Serve warm, garnish with fresh basil and enjoy! <3
